A hilarious day.

I am happy. I have finished my revision for Medsoc. Er... kind of. Heck.

Yesterday was "mugging" day with QH and Diyanah.

I think this is a funny story. QH and I were just sitting innocently in the 174 bus, just minding our own businesses. When the bus was turning around the corner right, there was this insane woman right, who was holding an umbrella and crossing the road. Sounds normal enough right? But NO. It's not! ok, SHE's not normal. She was looking down at the ground and crossing the road lah! Hello, auntie?! Your grandfather's road ah?! Obviously, the bus almost hit her lah. So the bus driver honked at her. And she had this shocked-furious-bewildered expression on her face. Wait.... that's not the funny part. You ready?! So when the bus drove past her right..........
SHE TOOK HER UMBRELLA AND HIT THE BUS WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hahahahahahhahaha!!!
I couldn't stop laughing for the next 10 minutes.

Dunno whose bright idea it was (nudge nudge, D_y_n_h) to go study at Coffee Bean at Wheelock Place. We had the honour of experiencing a display of the warmest hospitality and jaw-droppingly amazing service by the wonderful staff there. "Hello Miss, do you mind not studying here? It's lunch hour and a lot of people are waiting for a table." Ya, I'm sure that people are just tripping over themselves to go have almond biscotti and Ice-blended Pure Chocolate for LUNCH at Coffee Bean at freakin 3.30 PM IN THE AFTERNOON! That's what I had, by the way. =) ANYWAY. And I'm also pretty sure that 50 invisible people were just standing around, waiting to pounce on the next vacated table.
Being the thick-skinned chao Mass-commers ang moh pais that we are, we just sat there for another hour, continuing our studying anyway. What, you expect us to finish 1 almond biscotti, 1 New York Sausage Puff and 3 Ice-Blended Pure Chocolates at a go?!
"You think what, COMPETITION is it?!" -Yeo QH

Ya ok anyway. So studyin at Orchard was a big mistake. We ended up shopping instead. In a desperate attempt to force ourselves to study, we ended up going to the National Library (beautiful building by the way).

An extract of Diyanah's conversation with God-knows-who on her phone:
Diy: I'm in the library!
POTP*: blah blah blah (I think he or she said which library)
Diy: National Library!
POTP: blah blah blah
Diy: NATIONAL!!
POTP: blah blah blah
Diy: No, NATIONAL!
POTP: blah blah blah
Diy: NATIONAL, NATIONAL!!!!
POTP: Is it in Orchard?
Diy: No, it's in Bras Basah!!
POTP: blah blah blah
Diy: Ya, they built a new one LAH!

*Person on the phone
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

What to do with pictures you have taken:

*Knock knock*
"Hello auntie. First of all, before you say anything, I am villing to bear your family not vone, not two, but THRRRRRRRRREE little Umars! Umar Jr, Umar Jr Jr and Umar Jr Jr Jr. How boud dat? Do v have a deal? DO V?!"

(This is what we told Diyanah to say when she meets her boyfriend's mum in a couple of days.)

Esplanade.
Chocz.
Memories.

Sidetrack.

This is a sign on the bus telling you to give up your seat to the elderly, the handicapped and those with kids.
Can someone please tell me what the THING at the extreme left is supposed to symbolise?!

The what-ifs and the if-onlys.
